Giovanni Caliendo is formerly from Pavia, Italy, and as an award winning artist and craftsman since the early 1960’s; he has worked with both private clients and large firms throughout his long creative career. At a whim in the early 1970’s he began illustrating the stories he told his children, ＂The Brave Little Spider＂ being the first. Since then as time became available at the studio, he continued to write and illustrate fiction stories for both children and adults. Choosing not to publish, his manuscripts continued to accumulate on the studio bookshelves until recently, in his retirement. With the advent of the Internet and the e-books also came the opportune time that coincided with Giovanni’s decision to publish this book and a number of others titles, thus enabling him to present the many stories he has written to the world at large. His art instructions are very informative, while his stories are unique and deliver a convincing spin from the first page to the end.
